Lovin' My Gifts

Hey there! Christmas was spectac! Not just because I racked up on some lovely material things, but because I got to spend it with my love nugget. We both were very blessed this year, and loved the time we got to spend with each other, and our families.

Now we are looking on to the New Year that is soon to be upon us.
What are your Resolutions? I'm looking forward to setting new goals for my Twenty-Twelve. Becoming a wifey will require a few additions to my list... I'll let ya know those soonly.

Have a Happy New Year's Everyone!

It's a Wonderful Life

So, Christmas is upon us Tiny Tim! Ugly Christmas Sweater Parties galore, Elf on a shelf is in full swing, and Christmas music fills every retail store for hours on end. (Mine especially it seems) Not that I am complaining, I love me some Mariah Carey Christmas. I think I have all my Christmas shopping done, it was all online, and I have nothing to show for it yet, besides a dwindling bank account. So, let us hope it was worth all the anxiety!

An overview of my favorite Christmas traditions, would include:

There are so many good memories associated with Christmas for me. I hope that they fill your household as well. I'm very excited to be spending the 2nd Christmas together with Mr. Hare. Planning for the wedding has been an added stress during the holiday blitz, but it is starting to come together more and more. Delicious!

Unveiling

TaDa! So happy to have my Save-the-dates, I couldn't keep it to myself any longer. They will be on their way to many a household very soonly. I am in the wedding spirit as the countdown continues to Mrs. Hare.

As the Christmas countdown also begins, I am brain-storming for the perfect present for my fiance, that happens to be on the nice list. Wish me luck.

I hope everyone had a splendid Thanksgiving btw. I made a delicious Thanksgiving dessert called Cinnamon roll cake. YUM!

Cake:
3 c. flour
1/4 tsp.salt
1 c. sugar
4 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 c. milk
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. butter, melted

Topping:
1 c. butter, softened
1 c. brown sugar
2 Tbsp. flour
1 Tbsp. cinnamon

Mix everything together except for the butter. Slowly stir in the melted butter and pour into a greased 9x13 pan. For the topping, mix all the ingredients together until well combined. Drop evenly over the batter and swirl with a knife. Bake at 350 for 28-32 minutes.

Glaze:
2 c. powdered sugar
5 Tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

While warm drizzle the glaze over the cake. Enjoy!
